The Program Promoting the Human Rights of Women and Girls, Persons with Disabilities, and LGBTI Persons, supported by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL), is an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for a program that will advance an integrated, intersectional approach to advancing the human rights of women and girls; persons with disabilities, and; LGBTI persons.
Competitive proposals will present unique opportunities and creative strategies for coordinated engagement across these three communities to combat structural forms of stigma and discrimination facing women and girls; persons with disabilities, and; LGBTI persons.
Note: Programs should focus on one country in any region, globally. Where appropriate, proposals should include government participation or take advantage of existing political will.

Elegibilidade U.S.-based and foreign-based non-profit organizations/nongovernment organizations (NGO) and public international organizations; private, public, or state institutions of higher education; and for-profit organizations or businesses. DRL’s preference is to work with non-profit entities; however, there may be occasions when a for-profit entity is best suited.
